(I-Canada-News.Com, June 07, 2013 ) Alberta, Canada -- Beales worked in the engineering field for a few years, but a love of photography kept nagging at Beales, who as a child would steal her mother's camera out of her purse to take pictures of things she thought were interesting.
So when she inquired to a few photographer friends about entertaining the endeavor, they told her to get a degree in business before starting her photography business. That’s when she got her master's degree in business administration from Strayer University.
"What I discovered is that I love the business side of things just as much as I love photography," she said.
Beales has now been in business for three years, operating her own photography business in Washington D.C. before moving to Virginia in York County with her family last year. Last month, Beales celebrated the grand opening of her very own photography studio, Timorah Beales Photography, on George Washington Memorial Highway in York County.
Beales’ work has been featured in Military Spouse Magazine as well as advertisements for products and services for both families and children. She is also a member of the organization Professional Photographers of America.
