Single women will receive the opportunity to mix and mingle at this exclusive event, with all event proceeds being donated to The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto. In the past, 25Dates.com speed dating charity events donated over $10,000 to Sunnybrook Hospital and Toronto’s Ross Tilley Burn Centre.

How it works: RED HOT & BLUE will give 25 single women 3 minute dates with 25 firefighters and police officers, to see if they “click”. Once the bell rings, everyone ticks off a “yes” or a “no” beside the name of the person who they just had a speed date with; a yes means they want to connect with that person again. The men then move on to the next table. At the end of the night, the match cards are collected and the results are e-mailed two days later. A match occurs when two people say yes to one another. It’s then up to the matches to proceed with their own dates.
Stamm’ler-Adamson met her husband at one her own speed-dating events over six years ago which only proves that this form of dating really does work. She says, “We’re always looking to give back to charities that align with our values as a company,” says Stamm’ler-Adamson. “Us working with Sick Kids, well, we think it’s a perfect match and we can’t wait to host this event.”
