 (EMAILWIRE.COM, September 28, 2011 ) New York, NY -- Fortune Street is a game that is commonly known as Itadaki Street in Japan. Nintendo announced at E3 that the Fortune Street release date for the Wii will be on December 1, 2011 in Japan and December 5th in North America. Europe has no release date yet as of this time. This is the first time the Itadaki series will have a game released outside of Japan.
Fortune Street is a strategic type of game that is a somewhat beefed-up version of the popular board game Monopoly. What makes it more interesting is that the game features characters from the Super Mario series as well as Dragon Quest series. Fortune Street can be played by up to four players, each taking turns to roll and move the dice around the board to purchase and invest in properties. With Fortune Street, the stakes are higher and decision making become more difficult. Sound like a lot of fun? ThereÂ’s more to this game because that is only the easy mode. The harder part of the game requires even more clever and calculated moves from the players.
