This is not true for GoWood however, as they have come out with a statement that they have improved the quality of their flagship model: the Los Angeles.
The
wayfarer sunglasses Los Angeles come in two versions, with grey lenses and with blue mirrored lenses. For the version with the grey lenses, some of the feedback was that they were not dark enough. Another customer mentioned they were not too thrilled with the logo of GoWood being displayed on the leg of the pair of sunglasses.
Now GoWood has made the appropriate changes to their popular
wood sunglasses, by effectively reducing the size of the logo on the leg. Furthermore, the logo is only displayed on one of the legs. And for the grey lenses variation, they have replaced the lenses for a darker version. Their spokesperson added: "We would like our customers to know that also after the purchase GoWood is there for them. We listen to their feedback, we take it all into consideration and where we can make improvements to make customers better satisfied, we simply will. No product is ever static and should always be improved and made better along the way."
He further explicated that, even though this was not a request from any customer, they have also improved the quality of the microfiber pouch and are now offering a thicker and softer-than-ever black pouch with their logo embedded into the fabric, rather than printed on it.
